Optec's SwifTerm™ SC No-Polish Connector is uniquely designed for a quick, easy and reliable field-termination. This pre-polished, pre-assembled connector eliminates the need for epoxy, hand polishing and crimping at site, thus minimize the chances of operator errors and maintains higher process yield. It is ideally for use in any premises workstation, FTTD, FTTP applications for indoor or outdoor environments, and CATV backbone networks.

SwifTerm™ is using innovative C-slot design on ceramic ferrule, the interconnection is to be done inside the ferrule hole by locking the fibers, which secures the highest precision of fiber alignment to achieve best in-class optical performance and durability. Featuring only 3 components, it provides efficient field terminations in less than half the time of conventional field polish connectors.
